So Easter has come and gone...but here is a quick family picture for your enjoyment. We have been (and continue to be) so busy. We are selling our current home, buying a new one (saga story there if anyone is interested!) and moving all before baby #3 comes! Sometimes people ask me why I did it so close to my due date. The answer my friends is I didn't choose for it to be so close to my due date...We put the house on the market when I was 6 weeks pregnant! This housing market stinks! Also a few crazies thrown in there for good measure and BLAM...you have yourself a sale/purchase/move in May instead of earlier!

So our new house will be just up the road from the old one..seriously...just up the road. But Wyatt will be in a much better school and we will have a huge yard and still on a cul-de-sac. So we are so happy about that!

More updates to come when are moved and baby arrives...I know you are on the edge of your seats!

Happy Birthday Walker!!!

I can't believe that 2 years ago today I was birthing a leprechaun! He is so amazing and wonderful. When you are a mother of one and going to two your first thought is how will I love this one like the first? No worries...they crawl right into your heart and now you have a glimpse of how God loves all of us equally! So my little one is talking a mile a minute, running to keep up with his brother and loving life! He is a bundle of energy and joy! Thank you Lord for the wonderful gift you have given us in Walker.

Oh, and Daddy...thanks for the voice mail message. You didn't miss telling him Happy Birthday this year after all, did you? I love and miss you terribly!

Baby Girl????

Wow. What a ride the Lord has us on right now. So much grief and turmoil 2009 brought, and yet He loves us so much that He sees fit to send us a blessing. I must admit that a healthy baby was all we wanted. Most of you are probably thinking that I really wanted a girl and how wonderful that God has blessed us finally with one. That preconceived notion is totally wrong. I have always wanted boys. Even with this pregnancy, if I got to pick I would have picked another boy. I feel I am a much better "boy mom." I love sports not ballet. So when I found out this was a girl in the OB's office I thought "whatever, they told me Walker was a girl." So I went to a 3D ultrasound place called Ultrasona. It is up off of Polaris Pkwy and what a wonderful experience. Of course the boys were all over the place and being boys, but I laid on that bed and looked at my baby girl and thought...WOW, Lord you have done a work here. She looks like Wyatt in our opinion, which means she looks like Daddy. So thank you Lord for sending a piece of him back to me. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Fall...

So we have been busy. Fall has come and the boys have enjoyed as much as we will let them. They love the leaves and being out side. It is amazing how a rake and a pile of leaves can occupy them for a long time. I almost want to save them in a bag and bring them out next summer when they are whining they are bored! :) Here are some pictures for your enjoyment! Love to all.

Welcome Lucas Monroe Scott!!

My NEPHEW is here!!!! I so thought Sarah was having a girl because she carried differently than I did. God has his plan and it includes the cutest boy (since mine were born of course) that I have ever seen!! He was born (after over 24 hrs of labor) on October 4th @ 4:50am. Weighing in at 9lb 1oz, and measuring 20.25 long. Here are a couple of pictures for your enjoyment.

It is times like this that brings greatest joy to my life!!! Thank you Lord for some JOY!

New Day...New Outlook

So today is my Daddy's birthday and I have decided it is a new day. I was so hoping that Baby Scott would come today, but unless Sarah starts labor and delivers this baby in the next 3 hours that dream has to be pushed aside. :) So I know that I have been lax on this blog, but the last few months have been predictably hard on me. Losing Daddy was the single most crushing thing of my life and I had to digest it a little. Although I still break down frequently, I am at peace that My Maker has a plan and it is to give me hope and a FUTURE. So staying in the present and not moving forward isn't according to his plan.

Wyatt lost his first tooth 3 weeks after his 5th Birthday. I shouldn't be surprised at how early this came because this was the child who had his first 2 teeth at 3 1/2 months. He was so excited and the Tooth Fairy was FAR more generous than necessary! He also started his preschool year with so much energy I couldn't believe it. He really was ready for school to start and is upset when I come to pick him up!! He wants to stay and live there I think. :)

Walker is talking a mile a minute and I would say that most of it is understandable. He is so happy. He is going through the separation anxiety thing, which is not really all that endearing as it sounds. He wants absolutely no one else but me and will scream if he is approached unwillingly. Jim can't even get up to help in the middle of the night because Walker will just scream at him! So we are reconditioning him and I will keep you posted!

Above all my God is good all the time, and all the time He is good. I am clinging to his promises and praying that this new life will bring joy to hide the pain.

Such Great Sadness

Well most of you who read this know about Daddy and the journey we endured this past month. I don't want to go into detail, but to apologize for not writing earlier. I spent 3 weeks at the hospital and then a week in Mount Vernon with family. This blog has been pushed to the wayside and my life has taken hold.

To say I miss my Daddy is an understatement. I know that he is "with me" at all times, but I miss the human form of him. I know that God is in control, but am sad still the same. I wish my sons would have had the pleasure of knowing him like I did. I so looked forward to the day when Wyatt played his first tee-ball game and his Pop Pop was on the sidelines cheering for him. That is just one of the dreams I assumed would happen. Now I will just have to know that he will be there, we just won't be able to see the joy on his face...maybe just hear it in the wind.

Please know that because of my Saviour Jesus I am alive and I will be fine. Just right now I am allowing myself to be sad so that this time will indeed pass and hopefully swiftly. I want a day when I don't cry and all I do is smile. I am praying it will happen soon. The last time I talked to Daddy was at Walker's 1st Birthday party. Here is the last picture taken of him. Doesn't he look happy? Oh how I miss you...
